Company history and

Hess – tradition and
the future unite

The cornerstone of Hess GmbH today was laid back in 1977 – when Hans Walter Hess founded the industrial assembly company in Dorweiler/Dommershausen, close to Koblenz. The company quickly developed to become a broad-base service provider, and soon opened another site in Düsseldorf.

In the 1980s and 1990s, our business developed from purely industrial assembly to become a complete provider of company relocations.

From the turn of the millennium – after the management had been handed over from Mr Hans Walter Hess to his sons Alexander and Joachim Hess – its fields of operation expanded to include machine transportation and assembly.

Today, the Düsseldorf-based company now known as Hess GmbH is a leading provider in the full-service delivery of pant and machinery relocations. Hess GmbH promises safe transport solutions, innovative technologies and the best in assembly precision.
